Peckt is made by one person. Email is the only support channel, and it is read by the person who wrote the app.
When is Peckt available?
October 2026, on the App Store, iPhone only. Leave your email on the home page to be told on the day, or
join the beta on TestFlight now.
Which iPhones does it run on?
Requires Apple Intelligence, on iOS 27 or later. Today that means iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16e, 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, Air, 17, 17e, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, with newer iPhones added as Apple extends Apple Intelligence to them.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. The camera runs on your iPhone and the food database is stored on the device. Only iCloud sync needs a connection.
What happens to my meal photos?
The photo is held in memory while the entry is composed, then discarded. “Keep the photo” is off by default. Turning it on saves a small copy with the meal, synced through your own iCloud.
How accurate are the estimates?
They are assessments, and Peckt tells you how confident it is in words rather than asserting a number it cannot stand behind. When it cannot identify something it asks you instead of guessing. Every number is editable before it is saved.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no Peckt account and no sign-in. Your data lives on your device and syncs through your own iCloud if you have it enabled.
How do I get my data out, or delete it?
Deleting the app removes the local data. To remove the iCloud copy, delete Peckt's data in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage. There is nothing held on a Peckt server to request.
How do I cancel a subscription, or get a refund?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancel in
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at
reportaproblem.apple.com, Peckt cannot issue them.
Does Peckt write to Apple Health?
Only if you turn it on and grant permission. You can revoke it at any time in the Health app. Peckt keeps working without it.
Peckt is published by one person. Full trader details, including a postal address and telephone number, are filed with Apple and shown on the App Store product page for customers in the EU, in accordance with the Digital Services Act.
